Welcome to the dry zone

Most people travel to Katharagama, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa for religious ceremonies. And Katharagama holds a high reputation for its horoscope checking rituals, exorcisms, chanting ceremonies for good luck etc., which unfortunately people in the 21st century still believes in.
